Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is issued by Javier Hernández Gil (NIF: ES74001347C), sole proprietor trading as dBaton, registered address: San Ramón 30, 03400 Villena, Alicante, Spain. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record. See our Legal Notice for full provider details.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by activating dBaton CUE — entering your serial number and confirming activation against our servers — you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).

In plain terms: if you have not yet activated the plugin, you may return it within 14 days. Once you activate it, the right of withdrawal no longer applies — unless the product is technically defective (see below).

One-time purchase

  • Full refund available within 14 days of purchase if the plugin has not been activated.
  • If the plugin has been activated but does not function as described on a supported platform (macOS 13+ or Windows 10+), a full refund is available regardless of activation status.
  • Refund requests after 14 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis for genuine technical failures only.

Rent-to-own subscription

  • You may cancel your rent-to-own subscription at any time.
  • Monthly payments for billing periods already in use are not refundable.
  • The most recent monthly payment may be refunded within 24 hours of the charge, provided the plugin was not used during that billing period. Contact support@dbaton.com within 24 hours of the charge to request this.

How to request a refund

Email support@dbaton.com with your order number and a brief description of your reason. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days through Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

Technical failure guarantee

If dBaton CUE does not function as described on any supported platform, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of whether the plugin has been activated. Contact support@dbaton.com with a description of the issue and your order number.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What happens to my license after a refund?
A: Your license key is deactivated immediately upon refund processing. Any activated machines lose access.

Q: Can I get a refund after 14 days?
A: For one-time purchases: only if the software is technically defective on a supported platform. For rent-to-own: the most recent monthly payment can be refunded within 24 hours if the plugin was not used that month.
