Refund Policy

1. Our commitment

We want you to be fully satisfied with dBaton Cue. If it doesn't meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund process. We also comply with the consumer protection requirements of the European Union, including the right of withdrawal for digital content.

2. Fourteen-day money-back guarantee (one-time purchase)

If you purchased a one-time license for dBaton Cue and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of purchase.

To request a refund:

  1. Send an email to support@dbaton.com with the subject line "Refund request";
  2. Include your order number or the email address used at purchase;
  3. Briefly describe the reason for the refund (this helps us improve, but is not a condition for the refund).

We will process your refund within five (5) business days of receiving your request. Refunds are issued through Paddle (our payment processor) using the same payment method you used for the original purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the refund may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear in your account.

Upon refund, your license will be deactivated. You agree to uninstall the plugin from all machines.

3. Rent-to-own subscriptions

3.1 Cancellation. You may cancel your rent-to-own subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the plugin until the end of the current paid billing period. No further charges will be made.

3.2 Refund of monthly payments. Individual monthly payments for rent-to-own subscriptions are not refundable once the billing period has begun, as you have received access to the Service for that period.

3.3 First month exception. If you cancel your rent-to-own subscription within fourteen (14) days of your first payment and have not used the Service beyond initial testing, you may request a full refund of the first payment by contacting support@dbaton.com.

4. Free trial

The free trial does not require payment and therefore no refund applies. At the end of the trial period, the plugin will cease to function until a license is purchased. No charges are made during or after the trial unless you actively choose to purchase.

5. EU right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers in the European Union have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal from contracts concluded at a distance.

5.1 Digital content. dBaton Cue is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. By completing your purchase and receiving your license serial, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided — that is, once you have received and activated your license.

5.2 Our guarantee goes further. Notwithstanding the above, we offer our fourteen-day money-back guarantee (Section 2) as a goodwill policy that exceeds the minimum legal requirements. This guarantee applies regardless of whether you have activated or used the plugin.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline a refund request in cases of clear abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Repeated purchase-and-refund cycles;
  • Requests made after the fourteen-day period has expired;
  • Evidence that the software continues to be used after a refund has been processed.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, we ask that you contact us at support@dbaton.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur processing costs and may result in the suspension of your license. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
